George Santos’ Fall: From Congressman to Convict, Sentenced to Over Seven Years

CENTRAL ISLIP, N.Y. — On April 25, 2025, in a courtroom on Long Island, George Santos stood before a judge, his arrogant swagger supplanted by blubbering words and tears. The short-lived congressman who had captivated New York politics with lies was sentenced to 87 months—nearly eight years—in federal prison on charges of identity theft and fraud. For a man who built a reputation on blatant lies, the ultimate price of his choices finally came crashing down.

A Meteoric Rise Built on Lies

At 36, Santos’ story is one of ambition gone wrong. He swept into Congress in 2022, representing parts of Queens and Long Island, with a rags-to-riches tale that captivated voters. He claimed to be a Wall Street whiz, an NYU graduate, and a descendant of Holocaust survivors. But it was all a mirage. By August 2024, he pleaded guilty to wire fraud and aggravated identity theft, admitting he’d woven a web of deception to win his seat and line his pockets.

A Tearful Plea in Court

In court, Santos’ voice cracked as he faced U.S. District Judge Joanna Seybert. “I betrayed everyone who believed in me—my constituents, my donors, my colleagues,” he said, wiping his eyes. “I can’t undo what I’ve done, but I want to make things right.” He begged for a lighter sentence, promising to serve the community he’d wronged. But the prosecutor, Ryan Harris, wasn’t convinced. He pointed to Santos’ social media, where he’d called himself a “scapegoat” and ranted about a “witch hunt.” “He’s not sorry,” Harris said. “He’s sorry he got caught.”

A Harsh Sentence for a “Fraudster”

The judge agreed. Calling Santos an “arrogant fraudster,” Seybert handed down a sentence at the high end of federal guidelines: 87 months, including a mandatory two years for identity theft. Santos must also pay $373,749 to his victims—people like elderly donors whose trust he exploited—and forfeit $205,002. He has until July 25, 2025, to report to prison, a deadline that looms over his uncertain future.

Schemes That Shocked the Nation

Santos’ schemes were as bold as they were heartless. He stole the identities of nearly a dozen people, including his own family, running up credit card charges without a second thought. He faked campaign donations to trick the Republican Party into backing him. He even claimed unemployment benefits during the pandemic, despite earning income. And when the money rolled in, he spent it lavishly—on designer clothes, Botox, even an OnlyFans account. “He made a mockery of our elections,” Harris said, his words heavy with disdain.

The Unraveling of a Political Star

The unraveling began soon after Santos’ 2022 victory. A New York Times investigation exposed his lies, and the cracks in his story widened. By May 2023, he faced 23 felony charges. A scathing House Ethics Committee report laid bare his excesses, and in December 2023, Congress expelled him—a rare rebuke that made him only the sixth House member ever ousted without a conviction. The vote was crushing for Santos, who’d dreamed of political stardom.

Defiance in the Spotlight

Even after his plea, Santos couldn’t resist the spotlight. He earned thousands selling Cameo videos and launched a podcast called “Pants on Fire,” leaning into his notoriety. But prosecutors saw it as proof he hadn’t changed. “He’s chasing fame, not redemption,” Harris argued. Santos’ lawyer, Andrew Mancilla, pleaded for mercy, saying his client’s public humiliation was punishment enough. He mentioned Santos’ help in another fraud case, but Seybert wasn’t swayed. “You didn’t save a dime for your victims,” she said, noting his spending sprees.

A Divided Public Reacts

Outside the courtroom, reactions were raw. “This is justice,” said U.S. Attorney Breon Peace, whose office prosecuted the case. “He lied, he stole, he hurt people.” On X, opinions clashed. Some, like @robbystarbuck, felt the sentence was too harsh compared to punishments for violent crimes. Others, like @kyledcheney, said Santos’ defiance sealed his fate. “He couldn’t stop talking,” one user posted. “That’s what did him in.”

Victims Left in the Wake

For those who knew Santos, the verdict was bittersweet. Roberta Reardon, New York’s labor commissioner, called his pandemic fraud “callous,” remembering the struggling workers he’d cheated. Victims, including donors who believed in his campaign, felt betrayed. “I thought he was one of us,” said one elderly supporter, her voice heavy with regret.

A Cautionary Tale for Politics

Santos’ rise and fall is a stark reminder of how fragile trust is in politics. From a charming newcomer to a national punchline, he leaves behind a trail of broken promises and real pain. As he prepares for prison, he’s left with his own words from the courtroom: “I can’t rewrite the past.” Whether he can find a new path forward—or if he’ll ever regain the trust he shattered—remains an open question. For now, George Santos is a man out of time, facing years behind bars for the lies he told and the lives he upended.

Alyssa Farah Griffin's "The View" MAGA Hat Promise: A Pledge for Peace?

On ABC's talk show "The View," in one of those moments a lot of people wouldn't forget, co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin made an audacious promise during her December 2024 show: if then-President-elect Donald Trump could broker a deal to free hostages held by Hamas in Gaza, she would wear a MAGA hat on the show. The comments came during a segment about Trump's appearance at the reopening of Notre Dame Cathedral and how he may shape or has shaped international relations.

The Promise:

Griffin, once director of Strategic Communications for Trump at the White House before she resigned in 2020, often criticizes her former boss while showing nuances in her tone regarding his probable contribution to keeping world peace. This, after having said in a segment, "If he does good-if he gets the Israeli hostages out, I promise I will wear a MAGA hat for one day on the show and say, 'Thank you for doing it'." It drew a mix of responses from her fellow hosts, noticeably the caution from Sunny Hostin. But Griffin, with comedic timing, responded by saying she knows Hostin would "knock it right off my head."

Context:

This promise came against the backdrop of the bitter war between Israel and Hamas, which dramatically worsened after a Hamas attack on October 7, 2023, killed many and took hostages, thereby eliciting an extended and disastrous series of retaliatory actions by Israel. The international community, including mediators from the U.S., Egypt, and Qatar, had been striving for a ceasefire, but until recent developments, all such efforts had come to naught.

The Deal:

Fast forward to January 15, 2025, just days before Trump's inauguration for his second term, news broke of a ceasefire deal between Israel and Hamas that included the release of hostages. This deal was notably announced by Trump himself via social media, claiming credit for the diplomatic breakthrough. Although the details were not yet complete, it was to ensure the gradual release of hostages in exchange for Palestinian prisoners and a temporary halt to the Israeli military action in Gaza.

Public and Media Reaction:

His words came against the backdrop of a very bitter war between Israel and Hamas that dramatically worsened after a Hamas attack on Oct. 7, 2023, killed many and took hostages, thereby eliciting an extended disastrous series of retaliatory actions by Israel. The international community-its mediators from the U.S., Egypt, and Qatar included-had been trying for a ceasefire, but up until recent developments, all such efforts came to nothing.

Implications

Above is the convoluted dynamic of political commentary on public forums such as "The View," where personal belief meets political affiliation and public promise. It wasn't about the hat; it was about embracing positivity, which comes out of those in political life one might oppose. This represents a balance position that many media would have to face when discussing or responding to an international crisis in which such leaders held a controversial image.

Conclusion:

One can only guess whether Alyssa Farah Griffin will wear a MAGA hat or not. Well, she promised she would, but that fired up the latest debates about the role of diplomacy, power, and strong personalities in international negotiations, and about what is expected by the public in terms of coherence and integrity in media personalities. If this episode of "The View" ever materializes, it will be a moment of personal accountability for Griffin and further testament to how frequently wild the twists and turns of politics and media can be. For now, all eyes are on "The View" to see if this pledge will be fulfilled, adding another layer to the ever-evolving narrative of U.S. politics and global peace efforts.

The Real Reason Tucker Carlson Was Fired from Fox News

Rumors abound about Tucker Carlson's departure from Fox News on the internet. This must-be-read article reveals the truth about the reason he was fired.

The departure of Tucker Carlson from Fox News has been the subject of a lot of rumor and speculation. While a have proposed that he was terminated because of questionable remarks or political conflicts, reality behind his exit is more mind boggling. We'll look into the real reason Carlson left the network in this article.

The bits of hearsay encompassing Exhaust Carlson's takeoff from Fox News.

There have been a lot of rumors and theories about why Tucker Carlson was fired from Fox News on the internet. Some people have said that it was because of controversial remarks he made on air, while others have said it was because of political differences with the network. The truth behind his departure, on the other hand, is more nuanced and involves a number of different factors. Let's examine the actual events in greater detail.

The real reason he was fired from his job.

Tucker Carlson left Fox News for a variety of reasons, not the least of which were the controversial remarks he made on air. In fact, a number of factors were involved, including disagreements with network executives regarding the show's direction and content. Additionally, Carlson had been contemplating leaving the network for some time, and in the end, he and Fox News made the decision to part ways. It is evident that there was more to the story than just controversial remarks, even though the precise details of the situation may never be known.

The effect of his takeoff on Fox News and the media scene.

The departure of Tucker Carlson from Fox News has undoubtedly upended the media landscape. As one of the organization's most famous and dubious hosts, his nonappearance will be felt by numerous watchers. Additionally, his departure raises concerns regarding Fox News' future direction and relationship to the political climate at the moment. Some people have said that the network might be moving away from its conservative roots, and others have said that Carlson's departure is just a sign that the media industry is changing. It is abundantly clear that Tucker Carlson's departure will have a significant impact not only on Fox News but also on the media landscape as a whole.

The possibilities for Carlson's future and possible next steps.

While the justification for Exhaust Carlson's takeoff from Fox News might be indistinct, many are hypothesizing about his future possibilities and likely following stages. He might switch to another conservative media outlet, according to some, or he might go into politics. Carlson has spoken out in favor of President Trump and has even been mentioned as someone who might run for office. It is abundantly clear that Carlson's departure from Fox News will not mark the end of his political or media career.

The more extensive ramifications of his terminating with the expectation of complimentary discourse and media restriction.

While the specific justification for Exhaust Carlson's terminating from Fox News might be obscure, the more extensive ramifications of his flight merit considering. Some have guessed that his terminating might be a consequence of strain from publicists or political tension from outside sources. Because it suggests that certain voices may be censored or silenced based on external pressures, this raises concerns regarding media censorship and free speech. The potential effects of these actions on the media landscape and the future of free speech must be taken into consideration.

Louisiana State Rep. Jeremy LaCombe Switches to Republican Party

Louisiana state Rep. Jeremy LaCombe has announced his switch to the Republican Party, becoming the latest Democrat to make the move. Read more here.

Louisiana state Rep. Jeremy LaCombe has made headlines by announcing his switch from the Democratic Party to the Republican Party. LaCombe is the latest in a string of Democrats who have made the move to the GOP in recent years, citing a variety of reasons for their decision. Learn more about LaCombe's decision and what it could mean for Louisiana politics.

Who is state Rep. Jeremy LaCombe of Louisiana?

Louisiana state Rep. Jeremy LaCombe is a lawmaker who has served in the Louisiana Place of Delegates starting around 2016. He represents District 18, which encompasses a portion of the parishes of St. Landry and St. Martin. LaCombe was first elected as a Democrat, but he recently announced that he will now run for office in the Republican Party. His decision was motivated by his conservative values and the Democratic Party's shift to the left.

LaCombe joined the Republican Party for what reason?

LaCombe decided to switch to the Republican Party because of his conservative values and the Democratic Party's shift to the left. He expressed that he accepts the Conservative Faction better lines up with his qualities and the requirements of his constituents. LaCombe's change is part of a larger trend in recent years of Democrats switching to the Republican Party.

What might this change do to politics in Louisiana?

The political landscape in Louisiana could be significantly affected by LaCombe's decision to join the Republican Party. As a result of his change, Republicans now have a super-majority in the Louisiana House of Representatives, giving them more power over the legislative agenda. In addition, LaCombe's move may indicate a larger shift in the state's political landscape, as more Democrats may eventually defect to the Republican Party. It is not yet clear what this will mean for impending decisions and the overall influence in Louisiana governmental issues.

Have different leftists in Louisiana made comparable switches lately?

In fact, in recent years, there have been a number of well-known switchovers from the Democratic Party to the Republican Party in Louisiana. State Sen. John Milkovich made the change in 2019, citing his support for gun rights and opposition to abortion as reasons. In 2020, state Rep. Roy Daryl Adams likewise exchanged parties, referring to his arrangement with conservative qualities and approaches. The growing Republican dominance in Louisiana politics is a result of these shifts.

What responses have Democrats and Republicans given to LaCombe's announcement?

LaCombe's announcement has received mixed reactions. He has been warmly received by Republicans, who applaud his decision to switch parties and join their ranks. Liberals, then again, have scrutinized LaCombe for leaving their party and blamed him for deceiving his constituents. Some have even demanded that he resign, arguing that because he was elected as a Democrat, he ought to keep his party loyalty.

Taxpayers Forced to Finance Bank Bailout: Are Bonuses Included?

Bonuses and executive payouts - funded by taxpayers? Find out if you're on the hook to finance a bank bailout and how it could benefit big bankers.

The financial industry was rocked in 2008 when banks and mortgage lenders needed billions of dollars to stay afloat. It was astounding to discover that taxpayers were being asked to foot the bill for what became known as “the bank bailout” – and even more concerning to hear that taxpayer money could go towards funding bankers' bonuses.

What is a Bank Bailout?

A bailout is a form of financial assistance given to a company or organization facing financial distress or bankruptcy. It usually comes in the form of loans or money sent directly to a business that had previously succeeded but has recently encountered major losses either through mismanagement, fraud, or external forces beyond its control. Bank bailouts are government-backed rescue initiatives designed to stabilize the banking system by ensuring that banks have enough funds to cover deposits and other liabilities during times of crisis.

Who Funds a Bank Bailout?

In most cases, a bank bailout is funded by taxpayer dollars; however, executives within the organization often benefit from bonuses and payouts provided at the government’s discretion. During times of banking crises, federal funds are often used to stabilize large institutions in need of assistance. This allows for banks to continue operating and for deposits to remain secure with taxpayers covering the cost of restoring the financial stability of a once profitable company.

Are Bonuses Included Under the Terms of a Bank Bailout?

Many times, bonuses and executive payouts come with a bank bailout when authorized by the government. This has raised concerns over whether taxpayer funds are financing such activities while banks themselves remain unstable and risk of collapse looms large. Government oversight on the use of federal dollars is often part of the rescue plan in order to ensure corporate profits are not excessively paid out while taxpayers bear the brunt of financial losses.

How Can Taxpayers Tell if They're Being Forced to Finance Bank Bonuses?

Generally speaking, taxpayers can tell if they are being forced to finance bank bonuses when details of the government bailout plan surface. Taxpayers should inquire about what percentage of the bailout is devoted to executive bonuses and other payouts that don’t benefit their interests. It is also essential for taxpayers to stay informed about any changes in banking regulations or legislation that might be put in place to ostensibly “protect” consumers but which ultimately could be leveraged for political gain or corporate favoritism.

What Alternatives Are Available to Prevent Taxpayer Funded Bonuses?

One alternative to preventing taxpayers from financing bank bonuses is for legislators to create laws and regulations which limit executive compensation. Such laws should mandate that large corporations cannot issue bonuses exceeding a certain percentage of revenue. This would prevent circumstances wherein bank executives receive lavish payouts, regardless of how risky their investments turn out to be. These laws should also hold buyers, who purchase the failing organizations, reimbursing the money used to finance executive bonuses during bailouts,.

Train Derailment In East Palestine Leaves Toxic Waste Spilling Into Local Community - J.D. Vance

JP Vance is raising awareness about a toxic waste spill from a train derailment in East Palestine that has been left unchecked for weeks. Get the latest news on this developing story here!

JP Vance is raising alarm about the toxic chemicals spilling from a train derailment in East Palestine, Ohio that were left unchecked weeks after the disaster. The environmental activist is calling for immediate action to address the hazardous materials that are still sitting in the middle of town.

JD Vance

Overview of the Train Derailment in East Palestine.

On February 13th, 2021 an 86-car freight train derailed and spilled several hazardous materials into the streets of East Palestine, Ohio. The cause of the accident is attributed to an improper connection between a rail car and the engine. Luckily, there were no reported casualties or injuries. However, many people in the town are concerned about the environmental impact these toxic substances may have on their community.

Details on the Toxic Waste Spill and its Impact on Local Communities.

The derailment resulted in the leaking of an unknown amount of liquid manure, diesel fuel, and nuclear waste into the local soil and water supply. The waste is already impacting local vegetation and wildlife, as well as endangering residents' health. Local officials are also concerned that the containment may contaminate drinking water sources, leading to long-term environmental damage. Unfortunately, it appears that there has been little effort from rail companies to clean up the spill or assess its environmental impact.

Examination of Possible Causes of the Disaster.

Scientists and local officials are assessing possible causes of the derailment to ensure similar accidents don't happen again. Initial assessments point to a breach in track maintenance due to lack of proper upkeep by the rail companies coupled with inadequate railroad inspection by government officials. It's important that further investigation is conducted to understand if other factors were also at play so we can take action to prevent future disasters.

Health Concerns for Local Residents in Wake of the Disaster.

The environmental damage caused by the derailment in East Palestine is a major public health concern. Toxic wastes continue to leak into local water sources, with some residents complaining of rashes, nausea and other unspecified illnesses that are likely linked to exposure from the spill. Many have received emergency medical care but further long-term studies will be required to determine if more serious health risks associated with the spill exist.

TRB Black Check

Potential Remediation Solutions to Clean Up the Spill Site.

There are a variety of potential solutions to remediate the site and clean up the toxic waste from the derailment that have been proposed. The most feasible of these would involve using a bio-remediation process. This involves introducing natural organisms that are specially adapted for degrading specific pollutants, such as hydrocarbons, into the contaminated environment. This could help break down and dissolve oils, solvents, heavy metals and other hazardous components present in the spill and reduce their impact on the local community.

This One Is Personal - Diane Harkey

From the Deskof President Donald J. Trump
In 2016, we took our country back - and since then our conservative America First agenda has made our country stronger than it's ever been.

But all this is now in jeopardy. If the Democrats retake the House, they will halt our agenda and undo all we've accomplished.

And this is why I need you to join me in supporting Diane Harkey of California as she fights to protect one of our most important Congressional seats in the country.

Diane Harkey is running to take over retiring Congressman Darrell Issa's seat. Both Darrell and I have endorsed her because she is a solid conservative fighter who will get the job done.

But she has an extremely tough race. Democrats and special interest groups are raising and spending record millions to flip that House seat, and we're in danger of losing it unless you step up right now.

Diane has my full support – can I count on you to give to her campaign?

With the help of a Republican-controlled Congress we passed the biggest tax cut in decades, unemployment is now at record lows, wages are up, our borders are secure, and we've made America great again!

But if Democrats manage to beat Diane Harkey and flip her seat, it could give them a majority in the House. If this happens, not only will our forward progress end, but they'll push an agenda that raises taxes, gives government control of our healthcare, kills jobs, and opens up our borders – tearing apart everything we've done.

Believe me when I say that ensuring Diane Harkey wins this seat is one of the most essential things we can do to protect our conservative agenda and our country.

With just weeks left before the election, we're running out of time...

Will you please join me in supporting Diane Harkey and protect our Republican House majority with contribution to her campaign right now?

Sincerely,

PresidentDonald Trump

John James for Senate - Michigan 2018

Combat veteran and businessman John James (R) is on the verge of scoring the biggest political upset of the year.

James is running for the U.S. Senate in Michigan against Senator Debbie Stabenow (D), an 18-year incumbent powerhouse.

He's never run for political office before and started the race with no money and no name awareness. Yet he won a come-from-behind victory in the Republican primary over a self-funding RINO, and is now giving Senator Stabenow the race of her life.

James trailed Stabenow by 23 points a month ago, but has now cut her lead down to just seven points. He's rising in the polls so quickly that Stabenow was forced to ask former President Barack Obama to come to Michigan to campaign for her.

James is an outsider who has served our country as an Army officer and run a successful business. He believes deeply in the principles of freedom that make America great.

John James is exactly what voters in Michigan want, but he needs help to get his message out.

Please make an urgent contribution to the John James for U.S. Senate campaign today!

He doesn't have ties to the deep-pocketed political establishment. Instead, he has to rely on support from the grassroots.

Senate Conservatives Fund (SCF) was the first major political group to endorse John James.

We knew it would be an uphill climb, but we saw someone who was sincere in his convictions and who was willing to do the hard work necessary to be a competitive candidate.

Now, thanks to the support of over ten thousands supporters, we have invested nearly $800,000 into his campaign.

Please help us finish the job by making a contribution directly to the John James for Senate campaign.

SCF will pay all processing fees and transfer your contribution directly to his campaign so he can spend 100% of it on voter contact in the final few days of this critical election.

We have shocked the political establishment many times before. Let's do it again this year in Michigan.

Thank you for supporting conservative principles and for helping underdog candidates like John James.

Why does Donald Trump have a Twitter account? Everyone has one today but he gets in the news constantly, he doesn't need any extra promotion. Plus his twitter feed demonstrates how unstable he is. If you only watch him on television you probably think he's an alright guy for the most part. Then you take a look at his Twitter feed and there's daily attacks on people if they say anything that he doesn't like. True or not True. If he doesn't like it, he attacks the person personally. Never on the merits of their argument, just something personal. Like their looks, most of the time. Unless they're a man, then its about their competency. He would do better to just shut it out down and close it or let someone else manage the account and not post any personal attacks.

Here are some recent ranks about the people on the View.

Here is a collection of tweets from Donald Trump within the last week, only the last week, that shows his bizarre obsession with Megyn Kelly and how he personally attacks anyone that writes something he doesn't like. We can't make American Great again if the President cannot stop himself from sinking to the lowest level of personal attack.

Michael Savage March 16th - There’s no such thing as a moderate liberal.

The Donald
There’s no such thing as a moderate liberal. Obama’s Supreme Court nominee is not a moderate as they want us all to believe. The goal of the progressive movement is to destroy and replace the system of government that we currently have. He’s a radical liberal. Garland comes from the 9th circuit court of appeals.

Donald Trump won three states on Tuesday. Marco Rubio who he refers to as “Little Marco” dropped out of the race. He says that Bernie Sanders is the lowest level Communist who has gotten father than anyone else in the history of America running as a Communist.

He did not like Marco’s speech when he suspended his campaign. Thinks that mentioning God in a speech is wrong. Mentions Church and State for some reason. Something that a liberal would say.
Donald Trump dropped out of the next debate on Fox News. Savage thinks this is a good thing. Utah voters might think differently.

He thinks Justice Scalia was murdered and wonders why there was no autopsy.

He gets into an argument with a Socialist that calls who wants to end the military and take the money and give it for free healthcare to anyone that crosses the southern border.

He believes that the Cruz followers do not understand how bad free trade is even if Ronald Reagan thought that free trade was a good thing. Savage believes that those thoughts are outdated. No mention of the great Cruz take plan that takes into account trade differences without putting into place large tariffs.

Mitt Romney is waiting for the top three Republican candidates to release their tax returns. Bombshell in Donald Trumps taxes according to Mitt Romney. She loves Romney going after Trump on his taxes. Says that Romney has been trolling Trump on Twitter all morning.

Cruz and Rubio need to stomp Donald Trump in the debate on CNN. Makes fun of Carson for saying that we’re just at the beginning. “Not sure what beginning we are at.” Kasich thinks that he will make it Ohio but he is even losing their.

She wants Rubio to go after Trump although there’s a report that he will go after Cruz and not Trump in the debate.

Cruz has an 8% lead over Trump in Texas. Trump trails both Clinton and Sanders in the polls. Rubio beats them both.

At his Florida resort he is hiring foreign workers instead of American workers. Using visas (H1.2) to bring in low wage workers. He has said that Disney should not do this same thing and they would not be allowed to do it in the future. Only 17 Americans were hired out of 300 workers. Michael Savage February 19th

He thinks that the Scalia death is suspicious. Something about a pillow over his head and no autopsy. Seems like everyone has moved on from these claims.

Transgender people are wanted at the CIA. Michael doesn’t understand why a Transgender person is a better candidate than anyone. This has nothing to do with the agency’s mission. A caller thinks a man that looks like a woman might have some advantages in spy work.

He goes through some scenario where Scalia was poisoned (Foxglove?) with dinner in a way that is not detectable and only appears to be a heart attach.

Sumner Redstone is in a battle with an ex-girlfriend for $70 million and some weird details are coming out about the 92 year old, his habits, and wishes for his funeral. He has some doctor that someone convinces him that he has had sex when in fact he has not, according to the girlfriend. He also wants a really basic Jewish burial with Tony Benet and Frank Sinatra playing.

Anderson Cooper asked George Bush what his favorite music is. Savage gets a little irate that they didn’t have more important things to talk about.

He goes through some funny stuff about Bernie Sanders and his brother who is also a crazy nut. They both hate America. He jokes around about being told to never eat or drink anything that listeners have sent in. And that the Democrats would love if Bernie went on a vacation in West Texas and had some free dinner before returning to his room. And Bernie is such a socialist that he would eat anything that was given to him.

One of the greatest iPhone hackers has a way to crack the Santa Barber killer’s phone without allowing every phone to be vulnerable.

Trump went after Carrier and other companies that have or want to move their jobs to Mexico. But singling out a company like Carrier and trying to punish them because they make a business decision that is good for them is not something the President is able to do under a law-abiding constitutional President’s administration. This is dictatorship type talk that should have scared the crowd but some were actually pleased with the idea.

Trump tends to only mentions one guy, Carl Icahn, every time someone asks him for a name of someone that would be a part of his team. There is no change on the show as he mentions Carl Icahn when asked for someone that be a part of his administration.

Putting tariffs on everyone is not the answer to re-establishing jobs in America. Low taxes and low energy costs for US manufacturers is more powerful than punishing tariffs.

He totally didn’t answer the question on student debt which is probably smart because kids only want to hear that they won’t have to pay it back. But the real answer is that $30,000 is nothing especially if the economy is growing at 4% at college grads are making $60k to $80k out of school. They would have their debt paid off quickly without government intervention. Then the student loan market needs to be freed from the government like it was prior to Obama being elected.

How the IRS and The IRS Advocate Service is Completely Incompetent

The IRS can’t Tell If a Refund is a Fraud
It seems like the easiest thing to tell if someone filing a tax return has a basic understanding of the history of the returns filed for that tax payer. So when a return arrives with a fake W2 and no information that resembles anything that has ever been filed for a particular SSN, that return should be marked as Fake and not processed. Well that doesn’t happen.

I got a copy of a fake return that was filed and all I could do was laugh. The income was wrong, the deductions were wrong, the status was wrong, the exemptions were wrong. So the IRS believes that on December 31st of 2014 I got divorced, left my job, no longer had any kids, somehow disposed of 2 businesses without any tax implications, sold my house again with tax consequence, and took a job at half the income of my old job.

This is so basic. Start with the W2. If the W2 is new and there’s no W2 from the company that I worked for last year, then make sure the new w2 is real. If I had kids and now I don’t have kids, wait for my wife’s return to make sure she is now claiming them. If I had businesses and now I don’t, don’t accept the return until I prove that there was no tax liability to report. But instead they just process whatever lands on their desk and send out the checks. Filing US tax returns has to be the most lucrative income for everyone in the Ukraine that has a computer connection.
What if the bank deposit is going to a local bank that only operates in Texas and I live in Ohio. Might be a red flag.

Call Screeners Never Know Anything
So I spent all of 2015 calling the IRS. Everyone that answered was really nice and no one pleaded the fifth, although they probably should have.

Every month I would call and be told that my return was with another department and they had it on hold. Why was it on hold? Don’t know. Am I calling the right place? Oh yes. What should I do? Call back in 30 days.

One nice lady informed me that I had filed single last year. No I hadn’t! Oh wait that was the fraudulent return that you still think is real after 4 forms, 6 calls, and 8 months. Great.

Advocates Just Forward Your Call
Then there’s the awesome Tax Advocacy Service that the Congress established to help us out. The only good thing about this service is that the wait times are only an hour instead of the two hour wait times at the IRS. But then again, you still have to wait the additional two hours because all they do is transfer your call to the IRS.

Oh they are really nice. “And you should really work with the IRS because they aren’t incompetent like you say. Its OK that they gave your return money to someone in Texas that didn’t know anything about you, go head and chit chat with them for a little bit. Oh, they don’t want to protect your identity in 2015 either. That’s alright, they really like to help tax payers over there at the IRS. Hold why I transfer you.”

The IRS won’t Provide Protection After/Against Fraud
When December 2015 arrived I knew that I needed a PIN so that my return would not be stolen again (still waiting for that 2014 check…). But the IRS shuts down the site to request a PIN until the after the first week in January. That makes perfect sense, not! And why doesn’t the IRS have a 2nd shift to answer calls? Why doesn’t the IRS have weekend hours? Any business that wants to do things half right would have these services for costumers. I digress. Back to the story. This wasn’t going to be a personal story but I guess that is more interesting than bullet points.

The first day that the PIN service is available, I go to the site and the site tells me that I am not eligible. WHAT! I just had my return stolen.

By this time my father, who is a professional tax accountant has power of attorney on our 2014 return and is trying to clear it up. So he calls and asks why we cannot get a PIN. They actually tell him that we don’t need one. Because fraud is great and everyone loves fraud, so embrace the stealing.
Well this is total crap, so I call the IRS. They actually tell me that there is a limited number of PINs for identity theft and all of them have been given out already.

1. This is the first day the site is open for the new year.

2. PINs are numbers and there are enough numbers to give everyone in the world 100 million unique combinations.

3. I had my return stolen last year.

So the IRS gives me this awesome piece of advice since they just can’t generate one more PIN on the first day that PINs are available, file your return before the thief does. Seriously. That is the IRS anti-theft program. Have all the real tax filers, file their returns the first hour tax returns can be filed, even if all their tax forms have not arrive in the mail. Because if you wait until February 10th, like I did, then your new tax year is already stolen. And your refund money is off to Poland, or Texas, or the Ukraine for the next 14 months. And have a really nice day, thanks for calling the IRS.

Thus we upped our withholding from 5 exemptions to 7. At least the IRS won’t have a refund that they can hold for 14 months. Back to the phones. IRS, please change your on-hold music, it really sucks.

Donald Trump was nicer to Ben Carson entering the debate in New Hampshire. He stopped and told Carson to head out that they had already called his name.

Cruz is not electable cause he’s not as charismatic as Obama. I think his ground game and his intelligence are enough to put him on top. Plus the democrats are incredibly weak this election cycle. After 7 bad years with Obama, they are running two terrible candidates. Any of the Republicans should be able to defeat the democratic candidate.

A Tea Party representative was on stating why they support Cruz. Savage is worried that the Tea Party will not support Trump.

Savage thinks that Cruz is wrong about not working with Russia. I personally don’t recall Cruz’s position on working with Putan. I recall Carly stating that she would not work with Putan during her campaign.

Savage didn’t like the half-time show at the Superbowl (TurboTax Super Ad), supporting the Black Panthers. He mentions that Beyonce wasn’t brought up in the harsh parts of the city but rather to an affluent family. He left the Superbowl in New Orleans when she came out on stage because he was so offended.

The ACLU forced the NYPD to take down the guidelines on identifying radical Muslims. Donald Trump comes on the show...

Donald Trump

There’s an article about Donald Trump saving New York by rebuilding parts of the NY during the 1970s and 1980s.

Bush used Eminent Domain to build the family’s Texas stadium.

Likes working with Russia to take out ISIS. Let Russia bomb ISIS so we don’t have to spend the money.

If Hillary pulls out of the race, Savage feels they might bring Biden out. Trump says that Sanders will be the candidate.

Trump also says that Hillary should not run cause of the all the issues. Sanders is maybe a Communist. Who thought we would be here?

Savage tells Trump to not soften up but to stay strong no matter what the consultants are saying.

New Hampshire Primary Heats Up With Cruz, Rubio and Trump in the Lead

Trump at 38% in new UMass Lowell Poll for New Hampshire
Cruz at 14%, Rubio has 12% with the governors Bush, Kasich and Christie in single digits.
Six days until the New Hampshire primary.
Rick Santorum drops out of the race and endorses Marco Rubio.

Marco Rubio Interview

Politicians are like all humans and citizen the weakness that they have in others.
Rubio says that Cruz will say anything to get elected. But Rubio is the one that changes his position on amnesty every week.
Trump says that Cruz makes up lies about others. After Trump spends two weeks making up things about Cruz.
Marco doesn’t want to be considered establishment but now has the support of the establishment after supporting them in the Senate.
Marco goes after JEB because of his support for liberal supreme court judges and Common Core.
No one ever asks Marco about his terrible tax plan that leaves the top rate at 35%, closer to the Democratic plans than anyone else in the race.

Newt Gingrich Interview

20 States now lean Red according to a new Poll. That is news to everyone from Gallup.
Iowa turnout the biggest in state history.
Thousands switched from Democrat to Republican to vote.
Hillary Clinton talks about Cyber Security today, totally out of touch with realty.
The Bronze is in the new Gold, funny that Marco thinks that he won.

Donald Trump vs. Ted Cruz

Trump goes after Cruz on 2 situations, some pamphlet that was sent out, and a tweet about Ben Carson on election night.
Both seem to be joke issues and suggesting that Iowa votes be thrown out is crazy.
CNN reported Carson leaving for Florida on election night.
Cruz camp says that no one said that Carson was dropping out and just that he was going home to Florida.

Trump sends in some bully lawyer to threaten a Cruz communication chairmen with a lawsuit. Hopefully he doesn’t read this cause he’ll probably file a lawsuit against me, he was that nuts.

The Presidential Debate and The Glenn Beck Show

68% of Iowans had not make up their minds about how to support going into the weekend before the Caucasus.

The guys on Glenn Beck felt that Ted Cruz didn’t have the best debate in the Thursday night before the Iowa Caucasus. The first joke about Trump out of the gate was good but he fought with liberal Chris Wallace too much and he told a couple of jokes that fell flat and people were not sure if he was joking or not.

Ted Cruz won’t say that he put a poison pill into the gang of 8 immigration law. But he added an amendment that was 38 words and took citizenship out of the bill. That did kill it.

Some actually think that Trump won the debate although he wasn’t there and was at his own event. Trump won the Drudge Survey after the debate but the question was changed to ‘Who would you vote for?’ instead of the usual ‘Who won the debate?’.

If Donald Trump had invested his inheritance in the S&P 500 Index when he got it, he would have more money today. That is an amazing fact.

The guys on the Glenn Beck Show had a funny exchange on Gillmentum. Where Governor Jim Gilmore gets 1%, he’s in the kiddy debate, wins Iowa (not going to happen), and then wins it all.
It was Jeff Fisher’s birthday on The Glenn Beck Show. He turned 56 according to the guys. They gave him a cake made out of Chick Fill A burgers with candles that said something like 478 years old.

Privatizing Federal Programs and Goals

It is becoming obvious to everyone that government will not fix government. We've elected all the politicians you can elect and nothing gets done that returns power to the people and reduces the size of the federal government.

Donald Trump is the final step in the process were everyone has given up on politicians and wants someone that will make a change. But he needs assistance for sure in the realization that more government is not the fix for government. More private enterprise and the motivation of profit is the only thing that will reverse all the issues that we face today.

I would like to examine one problem in society and how privatization could be the best possible cure. But lets all brainstorm through every issue and come up with solid plans to create private business that can profit by fixing what needs to be fixed. Including tax law, federal budgets, term limits, protection of the constitution, education, crime, violence, drugs, illegal aliens, regulation, financial stability, etc. For too long we have depended on the government. Lets get smart and creative and build systems that reward private businesses to fix all these issues and remove government from almost every role.

With drug addiction I think we could make three new enterprises or the expansion of current enterprises that would help to solve drug addiction.

1. The creation and maintenance of a national rating system developed in sprints by different technology firms to enroll, authorize, monitor, rate, and reward private companies that are working with individuals to end drug addiction. (This is already done for many different services in the private sector)

2. Private companies across the nation that find, market to, or are assigned drug addicted individuals that they work with through proven methods to reduce and eliminate their dependence. These companies would be rated by the drug addicted individuals and/or the families of the drug addicts. Drug testing would be performed on a regular basis and rewards would be given to each organization based upon their success. Companies with poor ratings would naturally be avoided by everyone and the ones with the best outcomes and ratings would be sought after. Rewards could continued for years for each individual so relapses would not be profitable for the companies.

3. Third party review companies (not government bodies) that would also be accepted, rated, and rewarded within the digital rating system. Their job would be to verify that the companies performing the care for the addicted individuals are actually getting the results that they say they are achieving. The providers would need to be audited by at least two different review companies before being rewarded for each individual. The auditing companies would be rewarded for their reviews.

The reward money would come from the federal government. Which would shut down every department that is currently fighting the war of drugs at the individual level and use a portion of that money instead on this completely private network of new small businesses.

This program doesn't have to be implemented at the federal level first. A state, a city or a small town that is receiving money to fight drug addiction can implement this plan and the results can become a best practice case study to be followed by other governments.

So what do you think of this federal government to private  company example? What conservative goal do you have that could be achieved by taking money and power away from big government and creating hundreds of small companies across the country that enrich communities and families?
